Sometimes our communication skills need to be better developed, and this requires practice. According to research, teamwork can improve communication among and inspiration from your workers. It also helps to make a more consistent and productive work atmosphere. Some cool games to increase teamwork and communication in the office are:

  • Concentration

  • Salt and Pepper

Concentration

If your team is feeling drained and stressed, let them practice some fun team-building exercises to get refreshed and energized. This activity does not require much time, and the recommended size of the group is 10 to 20 people.

  • Participants stand in two equal lines facing each other.
  • The game begins when one line turns around. Give the members 40 seconds to alter 10 things about themselves. This could involve swapping jewelry or clothing with other people.
  • After 40 seconds, the first group will get the chance to detect the changes that the other group has done.
  • After the team recognizes the changes, give the other team a chance to make the alterations.

Take Bag Skits

This exercise is great to energize and refresh your team. It does not need much time, but it does need some preparations.

  • Make a group of three to eight people.
  • Provide every group a goodie bag.
  • Each group will make a three-minute skit with all of the objects in the bag. Creativity is boosted with this game.
  • As a manager, you should allow your groups to make their own skits with general and work-related topics.
  • Give 15 to 20 minutes to the group to make the skits.
  • Groups can vote for the best performance. The winning group may be awarded too.

Salt and Pepper

This activity is fun, it energizes your team and it works well as an icebreaker. It does not take a lot of time, and it only requires some simple things like pens, tape and small paper sheets. Groups should include six to 40 people.

  • Give one sheet of paper to every person.
  • The manager should have a list of things that have pairs, such as salt and pepper, shadow and light, male and female and so on.
  • Break the pairs and write only one of them per paper.
  • Fix one paper on the back of participants so that they cannot see what is written on their paper.
  • Participants will then start asking each other clues as to what is written on their backs.
  • After figuring them out, they can then find their other pair.

These are effective team-building tips that will help you make strong and cooperative teams. Revitalize your organization with team-building strategies.
